As India celebrates Republic Day on January 26, these 73 glorious years are being celebrated on social media platforms by some famous brands through a number of campaigns, paying tribute to the feeling of patriotism.

Let’s take a look at how the brands like Tata Tea, LG, Ambuja Cements, Kajaria ceramics, Picsart and Disney + Hotstar have shared their love for the nation through social media.

The “Desh Ki Jhanki” (tableau) initiative is Tata Tea’s way of paying tribute to the shared unity among different cultures across the different states in the country. The Desh Ki Chai tries to integrate the diverse traditions, rich customs and culture, specific to each state in its campaign for this Republic Day.

India’s leading consumer durable brand, LG, celebrates this Republic Day by sharing the hashtag #KarSalaam through its social media handles, encouraging the people to unite and pledge to contribute to the growth of the nation. It has also pledged ₹1 Crore for the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund as part of this initiative.

Ambuja Cements has chosen to celebrate this year’s Republic Day through the 2-minute digital film “#IndiaSalutesSaidpur”. The village Saidpur in UP stands apart with its glorious tradition of sending its children to the armed forces, at least one from every household.

Kajaria Ceramics Ltd salutes all the warriors in the country – from the soldiers to the doctors and the health workers who helped to fight the pandemic – through a video campaign titled #DeshKeParamVeer.

Picsart offers a series of special features for its subscribers to make this Republic Day memorable. These features include backgrounds, stickers, fonts and other creative tools to customize pictures, posts and videos in accordance with the special day. They encourage each patriot to digitally celebrate the day while keeping safe themselves from the pandemic.

Disney + Hotstar provides the opportunity for its subscribers to commemorate the day with a range of choices among classic patriotic stories and movies. By offering a range of films from the Tamil blockbuster Thupakki to Ajay Devgn’s Bhuj: The Pride of India, this platform stirs the true fervour of patriotism at heart on this day.
