Canara HSBC Life Insurance Launches Mother’s Day Digital Film Celebrating the Woman Behind Motherhood

The film captures everyday moments that reflect the sacrifices and quiet shifts in identity experienced by mothers

New Delhi, 07th May, 2026: Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company Limited (“Canara HSBC Life Insurance”) today announced the launch of its new digital film to mark Mother’s Day on 10th May 2026.  The campaign highlights how, in celebrating mothers, the individual woman behind the role is frequently set aside, bringing her back into focus this Mother’s Day.

Behind every mother, there is a woman with dreams, friendships, desires, ambitions, and an identity of her own. As life progresses, many women naturally put themselves second while prioritising their families, children, routines, and responsibilities. 

The film brings alive a slice-of-life moment between a mother and daughter. The narrative unfolds as the daughter discovers that her mother has cancelled a long-planned trip with her friends. Through the interaction that follows, the daughter encourages her mother to reclaim that part of herself she had set aside, pulling out clothes and packing her mother’s bag, urging her to go ahead with the trip. The story progresses through everyday moments, capturing the emotional shift that leads the mother to reconsider her decision reminder her identity beyond motherhood. 

The film reinforces the core message that every time the world gains a mother, it quietly loses the woman behind her. Packed lunches, late nights, and countless sacrifices often push her aspirations, passions, and personal identity into the background. This Mother’s Day, the campaign urges audiences to pause and give her a piece of herself back.
