Century Prowud MDF launches campaign for “Virokill”


Century Prowud has introduced the arrival of a new campaign for the new product named “ virokill”. Through the launch of the campaign, the company aims in showing the customers about their product’s exclusive features like specially designed nanoparticle-based self decorating surfaces which helps to complete protection from microorganisms and has unique properties such as anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and antiviral.

The outbreak of the pandemic had created a situation where both the world and the wood panel and decorative surface industry faced different obstacles. After recognizing the seriousness of the situation, the company had assigned its Research and development unit to come up with a remedy for the problem and also to create a product according to the concerns of the customers considering the current situation.

The Research and development team took the challenge and after immense hard work and proper study came up with a unique virokill. The product is of nanotechnology is fixed on the surface of prelam MDF and prelam particleboard that helps to kill the virus which comes in contact.

The product uses specially created nanoparticle-based self decorating surface protection against the virus by using the AAAA(A-4) for safety protection while creating their products and these particles are claimed to be anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and antiviral and this new invention is named as “virokill”.

 The product is designed in such a way that it kills the virus when it comes in contact and thus maintain surface hygiene and safety. The product was tested in Biotech Testing Service(BTS) which is the leading testing laboratories which are located in Mumbai.

The company claims that the product begins the process of killing the germs when it comes in contact and the nanoparticle which is used in the product is in the list of approved materials against the virus of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The company also has created a campaign film showcasing the product and its unique features and promoted on social media and digital platforms.

The strategic growth manger of Cresent Group, Aman Sharma stated that the company always finds it interesting to create a campaign for Century Prowud and also on their innovative product “Virokill” which is a product which has great significance in the current situation.
