Crompton launches SilentPro Ceiling fans


Crompton Greaves, which is currently known as CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited is an Indian multinational corporation focusing on the development, production, and marketing of power production, transmission, and distribution related products headquartered in Mumbai.

They have launched the new SilentPro ceiling fans and have used a new campaign named  ‘Silence Bhi aur Energy Savings Bhi’

In this new multimedia campaign of Crompton Greaves, Featuring a casual interaction between a husband and wife, and the ad evokes a funny and thoughtful take on silence.

The advertisement is conceptualized by BBDO India. BBDO’s goal is to develop and provide the most convincing commercial content accessible in the world through all platforms.

Their concept of “Create Acts, Not Ads” has been brought to existence through long-term engaged socially active campaigns for various brands such as Gillette, 7 Up, Whisper, Ariel, Quaker Oats, and many more.  

In the SilentPro ad, it shows a conflict between a husband and wife, where the wife finds it tough to experience silence or cooling at home with her shouting husband and a noisy fan. In placing a bet of getting a fan that ensures silence, More air delivery, and energy conservation- the wife takes the victory keeping the amazed husband in a calm picture, catching the most basic necessity and having “silence bhi aur energy savings bhi.”

The vice president, marketing, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, Mr. Rohit Malkani said; “Crompton has brought in continuous innovations and We recognize that a fan is one of the most important and fundamental equipment in a family. Therefore, keeping in mind that everyone deserves a little more peace and silence at present than ever before, we hope that the campaign will address the same and that our product will continue to deliver comfort, long-term conservation of energy, and mental harmony to people.

The Chief creative officer, BBDO Mumbai, Mr. Hemant Shringy said, These kinds of innovations make communications easier, and just like the husband in the advertisement, we also felt that ‘Sab fans awaaz karte hain’. This film adds to the world of the couples featured in Crompton campaigns for various Crompton products from fans and lights to coolers and other home appliances.
