Disney+ Hotstar has released two ads for the upcoming Dream11 Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, taking this context of being collaborative in homes with family members and unable to meet friends.

The first ad features people posing as superheroes, ready to head out to visit their mates and watch the IPL together only to be stopped by their buddies, who are all covered with superhero gear.

The second ad features a person with his family members, attempting to watch an IPL match at home. Members of the family and their antics are brought together to create an awkward watching experience.

Disney+ Hotstar VIP introduces itself as a saviour in both situations. You will watch all the league games on the app with your friends, and interact while on it as well. All for 399 Rs per annum.

This year, from September 19 till November 10, Dream11 IPL will take place in the UAE. The afternoon matches starting at 3.30 p.m. (IST) and night matches begin at 7.30 p.m.The pandemic situation will increase the online audience of watching IPL.

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo had pulled out as the title sponsor because of prevalent anti-China sentiment. In its role, the fantasy game corporation Dream11 headquartered in Mumbai made the Rs 234 Crore winning bid to become the title sponsor of IPL 2020.
