Flipkart launches new #BachonKaKhel ad films

Flipkart is India’s homegrown e-commerce marketplace. It now launched three new Ad films in its ongoing campaign #BachonKaKhel to highlight the industry-first benefits and policies introduced for 4.2 lakh sellers.

In April, Flipkart introduced marketplace policy changes and new capabilities in Flipkart EDGE. This change was introduced as a part of its ongoing efforts to build an inclusive eCommerce ecosystem and contribute to the prosperity, growth, and empowerment of its sellers. The benefits include a ten minutes hassle-free onboarding process, easy listing on the Flipkart marketplace with artificial-intelligence-based innovations, and fast payments in 7 to 10 days. The #BachonKaKhel campaign brings these offerings to drive awareness among sellers about the facilities of doing business on Flipkart.

Phase-3 of the Bachon Ka Khel campaign, conceptualized by Art-E MediaTech, the films are set on crucial seller touchpoints where Bijendra Kala is established as an expert Flipkart seller in the video campaigns. Kala motivates and encourages other sellers to take their business online through Flipkart because of the benefits provided.

The film explains benefits such as getting the quickest payments in the industry; ease of onboarding in just ten minutes, and listing and cataloguing through the entertaining demo by Divyansh Dwivedi.

Jagjeet Harode, Senior Director and Head – Marketplace, Flipkart, said that they are constantly innovating and bringing new solutions to empower their seller partners from across the country, as a homegrown eCommerce marketplace. In this digital commerce era, they wanted to handhold and nurture MSMEs from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, that are ambitious and are looking to unlock their growth potential. With the ‘Bachon Ka Khel’ campaign, they are aiming to educate the seller community about the ease of doing business with Flipkart in an efficient manner.

Rohit Sakunia, Co-founder and Chief Business Officer, Art-E MediaTech, said that the task for them was to retain the impact and relevance of the characters and their roles as portrayed in the first two series of Bachon Ka Khel campaign. They wanted the viewers to feel the air of change not only in the eCommerce platform but also in the way it impacts the sellers. With more new characters than the previous and a fresh setup, the campaign videos are a whole new story of how the Flipkart Seller Hub is changing the dynamics of online selling in India, by placing the seller and entrepreneur community in the focus of the innovations.
