HDFC ERGO launches new marketing campaign with Radio as the primary medium in Tier 2 & 3 markets

The Radio campaign changed into support via outdoor and Social Media.

HDFC ERGO recently released its current campaign to unfold recognition of the importance of medical health insurance across India. In a unique method, the insurer has curated a radio and out-of-doors marketing campaign that entails a series of light-hearted but impactful conversations between people riding the message of investing in health insurance to relax one’s future. With a focal point on riding the significance of medical health insurance and informing people on the availability of medical insurance on EMI, the campaign urges consumers to prioritize securing their future economic stability by way of investing in medical insurance as opposed to splurging on different items.

One of the unsurprising motives behind no longer investing in health insurance is the parable that it’s a one-time expensive cost. To bust this delusion, one of the radio spots showcases a mom-daughter duo, in which the daughter argues about buying a high-priced smartwatch over medical health insurance because it’s available on EMI. The mom then asks her daughter to shop for HDFC ERGO medical health insurance to be had on EMI.

Elaborating on the idea behind this marketing campaign, Shilpa Desai, government VP and Head of Marketing HDFC ERGO, said, “if you have a look at a rustic like India, the overall penetration of insurance in the USA is a single-digit, and a full-size part of that loss of penetration also comes from the truth that there’s move on consciousness on the category and we felt that as the main insurer on this space, there is a very death need for us to create extra class recognition, make humans extra conscious, extra sensitive to the truth that absolutely everyone and anybody might want medical health insurance, and most effective the right thing to do, and every other expense in existence may be deferred, can wait for it, perhaps an indulgence, but if you truly care approximately your health and the health of your family and your loved ones, this is something you should do.”
