Hell’s Kitchen is a new category group created by the New York Festivals International Advertising Awards® (NYFA) to highlight creative work performed on behalf of legalized vice brands.

Scott Rose, Executive Director of the New York Festivals Advertising Awards, stated that NYF’s specialist category group, like NYC’s Hell’s Kitchen, has always celebrated advertising centered on legalized vices, notably gambling, cannabis, and alcohol work.

The Hell’s Kitchen category group will serve as a showcase for the various creative engagement channels used by agencies and legalized vice brands to connect customers. Sports Betting, Cannabis, Alcohol, and Pick Your Poison are some of the categories.

This newly formed category group will be sponsored by E-Z Wider rolling papers and judged by a world-class group of creatives presided over by Paul Marobella, former North American CEO of Havas Creative and current President & CMO of Republic Brands.

His years of leadership expertise and strategic perspective will provide support to the Hell’s Kitchen Executive Jury, ensuring that groundbreaking work from agencies and brands is appropriately reviewed and awarded.

“We’re thrilled that Republic Brands and Paul Marobella are lending their support to a New York Festivals Advertising Awards,” said Scott Rose. He went on to say that Republic Brands, as a category leader in their business, with a history of famous brands and a track record of innovation, is the ideal sponsor to launch this unique category.

Paul Marobella, Republic Brands President & CMO, noted on the occasion that he was thrilled to head the Hell’s Kitchen category alongside an all-star jury. Because of where and how these brands can advertise, the level of innovation necessary for a brand breakthrough in controlled areas is frequently enhanced.

Paul Marobella has 25 years of expertise working on the client-side as well as in world-class consulting organizations. As President & CMO of Republic Brands, he is responsible for building brand value, growth marketing, driving demand, new product innovation, and corporate growth strategy. He is a digital and data-literate modern marketer, brand builder, and transformational CEO.

The Executive Jury panel will judge all Hell’s Kitchen specialty category entries.
