Her Circle carbon-neutral photo-shoot

Her Circle conducts India’s first carbon-neutral cover shoot. The squad emphasizes sustainability and women’s empowerment. World Environment Day photography was sustainability-themed. The node promotes sustainability. Everything was sustainable, from presenting sustainability trailblazers to location, styling–makeup–catering, and transport.

The shoot’s goal was to be green fashion. In a world afflicted by global warming and where fashion and lifestyle choices touch the environment, sustainability is a human duty through unique creative ideas and implementations.

The digital Cover showcases three pioneering women. Kirti Poonia is a proponent of circular fashion, and Elsie Gabriel is an award-winning environmentalist. Each woman reuses and recycles. Consume less than Earth can regenerate.

Unique shoot:

• To save travel time, the shoot was placed at a brick-and-stone eco-friendly residence in Mumbai. All used eco-friendly and biodegradable tableware, reusable bottles, and rubbish segregation.

• Cruelty-free, organic cosmetics were used without heating tools.

Sustainable fashion firms include The Right Cut, Okhai, Studio Maikai, Doodlage, The Summer House, Eka, Baka Jewelry, Noupelle, No Nasties, Shaped, and Angana Nanavaty.

• Morning shoots took use of natural light. The natural and organic photographer Anai Bharucha uses no artificial lighting.

• Mathilda Fernandes, a local home cook, prepared a vegetarian, healthful, light dinner.

• The cover photographs are natural and unaltered by software or filters.

• To assure net-zero impact and balance out the team’s carbon footprint, Her Circle planted 100 trees through Sankalptaru.

Kirti Poonia, Relove Co-Founder and Ex-CEO, said, “Circularity in fashion, the environmental impact of fast fashion, and how enterprises may choose sustainability by repurposing and recycling clothing are critical. Sustainability implies doing everything we can for the world before it’s too late. We got near a beautiful ecosystem without disturbing it.

Neemli Naturals co-founder Rameshwari Seth prioritizes sustainability. I’ve loved switching from movies to green skincare. Caring for our environment, flora, and animals is as essential as caring for our home.” The shoot was sustainable.”

Elsie Gabriel, the founder of Young Environmentalists Programme Trust, remarked, “We must produce the next generation of world saviors.” Our future depends on education. Without understanding corals’ value, you won’t realize how important it is to safeguard our waters. The image was beautiful and left a message.”

“At Her Circle, sustainability and inclusiveness are important values,” stated Reliance’s Chief Content Officer, Digital & Diversity Initiatives. First, we make valuable things carefully and intentionally. “For World Environment Day, we wanted a sustainable shoot with zero litter. We wanted to tell a meaningful story utilizing images of three sustainable women. The shot used local resources and essentials. Our sustainability heroes look amazing in these realistic settings. Chaitanya said 100 trees were planted after filming to mitigate carbon emissions. The whole journey up to India’s first carbon-neutral cover shot has been chronicled in a video.
