Sling TV is a streaming television service available in the United States that is run by Sling TV LLC, a fully-owned Dish Network subsidiary. The virtual multichannel video programming distributor, which was unveiled on January 5 at the Consumer Electronics Show, offers a selection of popular cable channels and OTT-originating services that can be streamed through smart TVs, digital media players, and apps. It was created to complement subscription video-on-demand services for cord-cutters.  As of 2015, the service is accessible in Puerto Rico and the United States.

Without the clunky cable box, Sling TV is a service that lives streams news, sports, and other TV shows from the Internet. Any Internet-connected device, including iOS, Android, and Xbox One consoles, can be used by viewers in the USA to access India TV.

People from the Indian diaspora in the US can connect through Sling TV to watch India TV round-the-clock for its in-depth news coverage of both India and the rest of the world.

“India TV’s goal is to inform and empower global Indians with factual, in-depth, unedited, fact-based journalism free of bias, outrage, or sensationalism,” stated Ritu Dhawan, managing director of India TV. We’ve taken another step toward our goal by making India TV available in the USA.

In order to deliver news as it happens to your living rooms, Dhawan stated, “We are proud of our seasoned team of TV journalists, anchors, producers, camerapersons, and other competent staff.”

With very popular programs like “Aap Ki Adalat” (weekends) and “Aaj Ki Baat” (weekdays), hosted by Rajat Sharma, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of India TV, India TV has been and continues to be a trailblazer in the Hindi news genre.

India TV has been broadcasting 24-hour news updates, current affairs shows, and conversation shows for the past 18 years thanks to its statewide network of journalists. The channel reaches an astounding 100 million Cable & Satellite homes in India and broadcasts live material for up to 15 hours each day.
