Indian teens spend 86% time on Facebook and 54% on Twitter daily: McAfee

Nov 24, 2012: According to a survey by McAfee titled ‘Secret Lives of Teens’ teens in India are spending 86% time on Facebook and 54% on Twitter. The figures which are alarming show the dramatic shift in online behaviour of teens. The teens are found to be very active on the online world and the survey reveals that out of the 757 teenagers surveyed, 97% had social network accounts which is a testimony to this fact. The survey also throws light on the growing digital divide between the teens and parents and reports the difference in perception of parents vis a vis the reality leading to conflicts.
