Gurugram, July 2026 – LegaXy has signed Vinayak Shukla, the newly appointed captain of Oman’s men’s cricket team, to its athlete roster.
Shukla took charge of the national side earlier this month, succeeding Jatinder Singh at a moment that matters. Oman are in the closing stretch of their ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 campaign, with the ACC Men’s Premier Cup also on the calendar and a place at the 2027 World Cup still very much in play.
He has been building towards this since his international debut in December 2024. In the twenty months since, he has scored 447 runs in 22 T20Is and 312 in 14 ODIs, with a maiden fifty of 52 not out along the way. What stands out is not just the numbers but the route he took to get here – domestic cricket in India, a move to Oman in 2021, club and domestic sides, the Oman A team, and now the captaincy.
