L’Oréal Paris salutes the nurses on International Nurses Day

The French personal care brand L’Oréal Paris launched a new digital film to pay tribute to the nurses for their valuable contribution on International Nurses Day. The ad film features L’Oréal Paris along with its brand ambassadors Shakti Mohan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Mithali Raj and Sobhita Dhulipala expressing their heartfelt gratitude towards these heroes.

L’Oréal Paris is one of the world’s largest cosmetics and personal care brand that has developed activities in various fields including makeup, hair care, hair color, skin care, sun protection, and perfume. The French brand has never failed to offer men and women with the best beauty products that have high quality, safety, and responsibility.

International Nurses Day is been globally celebrated to recognize the hard work of nurses from all around the world. Nurses have played a crucial role since the beginning of the pandemic, they have compromised their health to become primary caregivers. Nurses have always ensured to give all patients the required personal and quality services regardless of their infectious condition. L’Oréal salutes the relentless efforts and immense contributions made by the nurses during these uncertain times.

The new digital film launched as part of International Nurses Day carries a robust message and pays a humble tribute towards the phenomenal strength, selfless contribution, and grit shown by them. L’Oréal salutes their unbreakable spirit amid the pandemic and donated about 250000 units of sanitizers to frontline workers and over 1500 care packages to nurses across hospitals including Breach Candy Hospital, Tata Memorial Hospital, and Chakan Primary Health Centre.   

 L’Oréal is also working with a network of NGO’s all across India, including the Akshay Patra Foundation, Give India, Action Aid Association, United Way Mumbai, and Hemkunt Foundation, to provide medical supplies, oxygen equipment’s, food and hygiene kits. L’Oréal has also provided financial funding to the French government’s initiative to provide liquid oxygen containers, oxygen generators, and specialized respirators.

 The brand ambassador of L’Oréal Paris, Aditi Rao Hydari commented that L’Oréal Paris intends to thank all the frontline workers and healthcare professionals for their valuable contributions, saving the life of millions by putting themselves at risk. The General Manager of L’Oréal Paris India, Pau Gruart said that “L’Oréal is very much grateful for the relentless services of the health worker, they are the true heroes. We recognize and thank them for all their support and aid during these trying times”.
