Hero MotoCorp designates Navneet Kaur as Category Head

Hero MotoCorp Limited, formerly Hero Honda, is an Indian multinational motorcycle and scooter manufacturer and it’s headquarter is in the capital of India. Navneet Kaur, through her LinkedIn post, has revealed she has joined two-wheeler giant Hero MotoCorp as category head for commuter bikes and corporate marketing.

She wrote: “Glad to share that I’m starting a new position as Category Head for Commuter Bikes & Corporate Marketing at Hero MotoCorp! Life takes a full circle, and I am filled with nostalgia to join the company that a first visited in 2002 as a project engineer! Looking forward to the transition from 4W to 2W industry, m sure it’s going to be fun and exciting with lots of new learnings!”

Navneet has joined previously the two-wheeler giant from carmaker Citroen India where she was the top of

marketing and PR functions. She worked for Honda Cars India as the Head of Brand & Marketing Communications for over 8 years.

In an exceedingly career spanning over 18 years, she has worked at companies like Honda Cars, Blue star Engineering, and jump Strategies.

India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, has revealed their sales figures for the month of May 2022. The company sold 4,86,704 two-wheelers in India last month, recording a large 165 per cent YoY growth. within the same period last year, it managed to sell 1,83,044 units. Out of those 4,86,704 two-wheelers sold in May 2022, 4,52,246 units were motorcycles while the remaining 34,458 units were scooters.

However, it’s worth mentioning that 4,86,704 units are the overall sales of the company for last month. Out of this statistical data, Hero MotoCorp sold 4,66,466 units within the domestic market while 20,238 units were exported to other countries. Also, once we compare the sales tally on a mom basis, the corporate posted a growth of 16 per cent in May 2022 over April, when it sold 4,18,622 units.
