Ownly Brought Zero-Commission and Restaurant-First Model to NRAI Food Delivery Summit 2026

Fairmont Mumbai hosted India’s first Longevity Summit, connecting global science, biohacking, wellness and emerging health technologies.

Bengaluru, August 21, 2026: Rapido’s standalone food delivery app, Ownly, was onboarded as an Industry Partner for the 5th edition of the NRAI Food Delivery Summit 2026, organised by the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI). The partnership brought Ownly’s restaurant-first approach to a prominent industry forum focused on the evolving needs of restaurants, cloud kitchens and the wider food-tech ecosystem.

The NRAI Food Delivery Summit 2026 brought together restaurant leaders, technology companies and other industry stakeholders to discuss emerging trends shaping food delivery. The fifth edition explored technology-led growth, evolving consumer expectations, profitability and operational efficiency, while examining opportunities to create sustainable value across the delivery value chain.

Ownly’s participation further underscored its commitment to engaging with restaurant partners and industry stakeholders to build a more balanced food delivery ecosystem. Built on a zero-commission model, Ownly enabled restaurants to offer everyday low prices to customers while avoiding multiple layers of platform fees. The association came at a time when the food delivery sector was witnessing a growing focus on transparency, efficiency and value for both restaurants and consumers.

The collaboration built on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently signed between Ownly and NRAI in Bengaluru. The partnership combined Ownly’s zero-commission model with NRAI’s deep engagement with the restaurant community, with a shared focus on exploring solutions that deliver greater value for businesses while enhancing the consumer experience.

About Ownly

Ownly was a “full stack” food marketplace that enabled discovery and delivery for restaurants and customers. The platform concentrated on providing everyday low prices to consumers rather than concentrating on discounts. For its restaurant partners, the platform provided a zero-cost environment that prioritized democratic representation and enabled them to concentrate on providing the best product for the best price to their loyal customers. Delivery on the platform was managed by a network of logistics partners respectfully called “Captains” that earned through providing logistics services. The Ownly platform had close to 20,000 restaurants and continued to scale rapidly. You could download the app on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
