Philips launches male grooming and styling range ‘MPOWER’


May 18, 2013: Philips Consumer Lifestyle division which has recently been focusing on Men’s grooming as a key area of growth launched its iconic male grooming and styling range ‘MPOWER’. MPOWER range of products from Philips was launched by its brand ambassador John Abraham. Recent studies with respect to Indian market has shown that male grooming category has been the fastest growing category for Philips in India, where urban male is spending more time on their appearance and lifestyle.

The products launched by Philips Lifestyle as part of MPOWER range include facial styling, trimming and body grooming solutions. According to the company, the range is designed so that men could from shaving to electric grooming. Speaking on the occasion of the launch, Aarushi Agarwal, Director Marketing, Philips India, Personal Care & Consumer Lifestyle was quoted as saying, “Men today start their grooming journey at an early age and adapt their styling needs to different stages of life. Philips’ new MPower range is designed to empower every user whether he is 15 or 50 years old to experiment with his look, be confident and better express himself.”

Philips with this new range of MPOWER would be trying to reach the entire gamut of people ranging from first timers to more experienced users. MPOWER range would be available from Rs.2095 to Rs. 3595 in leading stores in India.
