Rishabh Pant storming Australia’s Gabba fortress and helping India snatch a three-wicket win to mark one of the greatest Test series of the modern era is a moment to be cherished for long. Social media is flooding with praises for Pant’s stunning performance. So what follows for the cricketing star who has suddenly become the talk of the town? Will his winning shot further build his brand image?
Industry geeks assert that Pant is likely to sign more brand endorsements with his brand value witnessing a leap, post the match-winning performance in the match.
Reports suggest that Pant has already been signed up by JSW Sports for a talent management agreement. He will be the first cricketer to be working along with JSW Sports, which currently manages commercial rights of popular wrestling stars Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik. Delhi Capitals in the IPL is jointly owned by JSW Group and GMR Group in which Pant plays. According to the deal, JSW Sports will be probably managing the cricketer’s image positioning and his commercial associations which include brand endorsements and appearances, social media monetization, and other business deals.

Plus the unbeatable combination of good looks, irrepressible personality, and heroic performance is very likely to make his brand value skyrocket,”
In 2016, Rishabh signed a three-year multi-crore deal with sports equipment makers, SG. The brand is currently Rishabh’s bat sponsor, which he endorses across all forms of international and national cricket matches.
