Sun TV Network Limited has launched its revamped Marathi GEC ‘SUN Marathi’ across Maharashtra on the 17th of October, providing a tremendous treat to Marathi television viewers.

‘Sohala Natyancha’ is the channel’s tagline, which translates to ‘Celebrating Relationships.’ The channel has announced 3 hours of original content with 6 shows starting from 6.30 p.m. and ending at 9.30 p.m., staying true to its tagline.

Each of these shows has a different storyline that explores different relationships. ‘Nandini’ will air at 6.30 p.m., followed by ‘Sundari’ at 7 p.m., ‘Jaau nako dur..baba!’ at 7.30 p.m., ‘Abhalachi Maya’ at 8 p.m., ‘Kanyadaan’ at 8.30 p.m., and ‘Sant Gajanan Shegaviche’ at 9 p.m.

From Dusshera to Diwali, the channel is not only presenting this fantastic roster of programming to its viewers, but it has also launched the ‘Bagha Roj Jinka Rokh’ (Watch Daily, Win Cash) contest, which offers more than 1,000 viewers the chance to win up to 2 crores in cash every day.

Every day during the contest time, one question will be asked in each of the six shows, and viewers will be required to contact the numbers provided to register their answers.

The series’ tales take place in various parts of Maharashtra. These shows showcase the lifestyle and culture of both urban and rural Maharashtra because of their diversity.

Maharashtrians have always had a vision that is aspirational, progressive, and inspiring while remaining grounded in traditional and social values.

We hope to reflect the same cultural values through the channel.

Sun Marathi has ensured a perfect blend of experienced and popular actors like Avinash Narkar, Rujuta Deshmukh, Ashok Phaldesai, Aastad kale, Amit Phatak, and Ashay Kulkarni.

As well as new promising faces like Purva Gokhle, Dakshata Joil, Arti Birajdar, Amruta Bane, and Anisha Sabnis, right from the start.

The narrative of Nandini is about two sisters. One makes vengeance her life‘s aim, while the other resolves to protect those she cares about.

It will be fascinating to watch who succeeds in completing her task.

Sundari is an aspirational village girl. Despite her dark skin tone, which is not desired in the society she grows up in, she feels that her kind heart, decent behaviour, and aim of becoming a collector will make her life lovely.

Jaau Nako Dur… Baba! is about a girl who spends her entire life seeking her father’s affection and attention. Is she ever going to find love?

The relationship between a brother and a sister is depicted in Abhalachi Maya. Will this bond ever be shattered?

The film Kanyadaan is about a father and his five daughters. According to popular perception, a father’s responsibility to his daughter ends when she marries. This belief is challenged in our show.

Sun Marathi is widely available and free on all major DTH platforms, including DD Free and Dish, as well as all cable networks in Maharashtra.

It is a part of the Marathi GEC neighbourhood on all platforms in terms of placement.
