Twitter Advertiser Index lists is a weekly activity that lists the brands that have created the most user engagement on the micro-blogging platform. The brand engagement index for the week that ended January 6th is as follows.

The first brand to generate the most user engagement is @Myntra. Over the last two weeks, the e-commerce companies have been driving a lot of conversations on the platform, and engaging the users regarding the festive shopping conversations. The fashion portal, Myntra emerged as the dominator due to the contests – #MyntraEndOfReasonSale and #FashionableFingerFirst. The questions of these contests were quite intriguing and easy. It was enough for people to think that the prize is within their grasp.

The second one is @Snapdeal that launched the #FullOnFashionAtSnapdeal contest that ran for the almost a week. Shopping was one of the major conversation buckets during the recent festive season. The third brand that kept the users engaged on Twitter is @Lifestyle_Store. The entry of this brand in the week’s index was due to the Lifestyle Sale called #TimeToBeSALEfish. With the prizes given for grabs and users engaged in the conversations regarding their wishlists for their New Year shopping, Lifestyle was able to get connected with the users personally. The brand used this chance to share its styling tips with the users.

The next one is @Gaana that ran the #GaanaWithColdplay contest. On Twitter, music is always a great conversation and the contest grabbed the attention of the music lovers who were engaged with it in order to grab freebies.

The fifth brand to grab the user engagement is @MotorolaIndia. Around New Year, the brand created a big topic of conversation related to resolutions. The brand asked the users what would be the resolution they will take when it comes to their phones. It involved prizes such as smartphones, and many people got involved in the conversation.
