TV9 Bharatvarsh to be directed by Deep Upadhyay
Rahul Chaudhary will support TV9 Bharatvarsh’s day-to-day news operations.

The 30 March 2019 premiere of TV9 Bharatvarsh Is a TV9 Network-owned Hindi-language news channel.
Being a recently formed station, it quickly rose to become India’s No. 2 Hindi news channel a year after its debut. Barun Das was named CEO of TV9 Bharatvarsh in 2019. It has been providing 24-hour coverage of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
The Network keeps up its aggressive expansion in businesses that are prepared for the future because it is dedicated to always staying one step ahead. Money9, India’s first multilingual and multimedia personal finance app, and News9 Plus, India’s first OTT English news magazine, are among the Network’s most recent new releases.
The management has chosen to combine the broadcast and digital companies in order to maintain the rate of expansion. Thus, Deep Upadhyay, Editor, Convergence & Strategy, is in charge of the editorial department at TV9 Bharatvarsh Channel.
Upadhyay will cooperate with TV9’s other regional digital assets as well, according to the Group. TV9 Group claimed that in addition to establishing itself as a leader in the broadcast industry, it is also advancing significantly in the digital sphere.
The Group claimed it made the choice to delegate control of its Hindi and English websites to Upadhyay because it wants to replicate its success in broadcast across all of its digital properties.
The TV9 Network’s Group Editor, BV Rao, decided to leave TV9 just one week prior to this. According to a video doing the rounds on the internet, Rao made the decision to leave the network on the same day as Shailesh Chaturvedi, Editor Digital (Hindi) at TV9 Bharatvarsh.
With immediate effect, Sant Prasad Rai, the former managing editor of TV9 Bharatvarsh, has been relieved of his day-to-day newsroom duties. Rahul Chaudhary will assist Deep for the time being in running day-to-day operations in the newsroom.
