They can now watch popular food shows like Strictly Street and Thali, as well as global destination highlights like Backpack Thailand and Boarding Pass, on Xiaomi’s curated discovery platform PatchWall.

With over 7 million TVs sold in the three years running up to September 2021, Xiaomi has slowly risen to become one of India’s major TV manufacturers.

Xiaomi has made it easy for its users to discover content from over 30+ OTTs in India since the launch of PatchWall in 2019.

“With the OTT market continuing strong and the relationship between users and services continually expanding, we at Xiaomi India are focused on making content discovery easier for our clients,” said Eshwar Nilakantan, Category Lead-TVs, Xiaomi India.

With Xiaomi and Redmi TVs, our goal is to deliver a customised interface for each user and a diverse variety, all while focusing on PatchWall development. Since last year, we’ve recorded over 1.4 billion clicks through PatchWall, indicating a significant uptake of 4K content.

We’re delighted to deliver a wide variety of 4K travel content to PatchWall users thanks to our partnership with Travelxp.

This partnership will provide easy access to material from a variety of genres, as well as Travelxp’s availability on India’s most popular entertainment devices.” Since its inception in 2011, Travelxp has grown to become the world’s most popular travel channel, with over 500 million viewers in over 50 countries.

Through its revolutionary product, Travelxp RED, which is created as a one-stop shop for frequent travellers, it launched the world’s first 4K HDR Travel OTT.

More than 500,000 users have engaged with Travelxp’s content since the platform’s launch in May 2021, and the platform just passed 100,000 app downloads across all platforms.
