Accenture (ACN) has acquired Headspring to expand its cloud-first and platform engineering capabilities. Headspring is a cloud-native services firm based in Texas.

The actual figures and terms of the deal are not yet disclosed. Market shares of the company have gained 44% over last year.

Founded in 2001, Headspring offers a wide range of cloud services including platform architecture, product management, engineering, and modernization across various sectors and industries, including government, energy, and financial services. 

Accenture Cloud First platform and its engineering services will highly benefit from the inclusion of a highly-skilled consulting team of Headspring. The association will help clients achieve faster cloud transformations and improved returns from their cloud investments.

Headspring has a team of highly skilled professionals with specialisation in cloud engineering and cloud-native services. 

They will join Accenture Cloud First and will contribute to enhancing Accenture’s platform engineering capabilities by working closely with hyperscalers. 

Headspring’s comprehensive suite of services includes:

  • Platform Engineering services include end-to-end cloud-native platform architecture and development from the foundation to the experience layer.
  • Platform Modernization services include re-platforming and integration modernization, cloud migration, code transformation and visual redesign.
  • Platform Architecture services include re-architecting platform foundations to support the new platform architecture.
  • Product Management services include gross assessment and analysis of pain points based on scaled severity, time inefficiency, frequency of occurrence, risk of inaccuracy and technology bottlenecks. Inventing roadmap and requirements for platforms for desired outcomes.
