According to Hansa Research’s Brand Endorser survey, Amitabh Bachchan is the most well-known celebrity in India. The seasoned actor is in charge of younger actors like MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, etc. A thorough study known as Brand Endorser (BE) was carried out in 36 Indian cities. Bachchan has the highest-ever recognition score, at 92 percent, according to the survey.

According to the report, he is viewed as a global personality who is self-made, relatable, influential, fit and energetic, sophisticated, and reliable. He is a brand ambassador for a variety of products because of these factors. He has previously provided his endorsement for products from Dabur Chyawanprash, Just Dial, Gujarat Tourism, Emami, Kalyan Jewellers, FirstCry, Cadbury Dairy Milk, and Maggi. More than 550 celebrities from various fields were included in the survey. In 36 cities, 5,100 people participated in the study. Structured interviews were done using online and offline approaches to understanding the rankings and performances of the celebrities that made the shortlist to measure the results. Hansa Research CEO Praveen Nijhara commented on the study, stating that it offers a “holistic and thorough assessment of the value that an endorser brings to a business.

 The study supports decision-making by marketers and raises the overall return on investment (ROI) for celebrity involvement. According to the findings of the BE score, celebrities are ranked. Their ultimate BE score is calculated based on a variety of variables, including likability, social media influence, perception, marketing potential, recognition, etc. Despite having a strong overall performance, Bachchan ranks third in the west and north, ninth in the south and eleventh in the east. In the states of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, he is particularly well-known. In addition to National Film Awards, Filmfare Awards, and other prestigious accolades that Bachchan has received for his performances over the years, he has also received numerous honours for his contributions to the Indian film industry. He was the first artist to receive the award, which was created in Raj Kapoor’s honour, in 1991. At the Filmfare Awards in 2000, Bachchan received the Superstar of the Millennium award. He received the Padma Shri honour in 1984, the Padma Bhushan honour in 2001, and the Padma Vibhushan honour in 2015.

He received the Indian Film Personality of the Year award in 2017, which came with a Silver Peacock Medal, a diploma, and a Civilian Award.
