Applause Entertainment enters into a partnership with Amar Chitra Katha

Amar Chitra Katha is an Indian publisher of Indian comics and graphic novels. Most of its comics are supported religious legends and epics, historical figures and biographies, folktales, and cultural stories. The corporate was founded in 1967 by Anant Pai and its headquarter is in Mumbai.

Applause Entertainment, the content studio from the Aditya Birla Group, led by media veteran Sameer Nair has announced a partnership with Amar Chitra Katha, the unquestionable leader within the children’s public segment in India. As part of this collaboration, Applause Entertainment has acquired the license to the Amar Chitra Katha catalog, comprising 400+ titles that may be developed and produced into animated content.

ACK is that the headmost in magazine storytelling for kids in India that have evolved into a cultural phenomenon today. Within the recent past, Amar Chitra Katha has made an entry within the digital space with all its books having a vibrant global readership through the Amar Chitra Katha app, yet as a presence on many other multiple digital platforms like Alexa, YouTube, etc.
