Brand strategies and campaigns during Teacher’s Day Celebration

India celebrates teacher’s day every year on September 5th, in memory of our country’s first vice-president and second president, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as his birth anniversary.

A day also dedicated to our valued and respected teachers, for their duties to bring up the youth to their highest potential for bringing a positive change in their country and the world.

A day meant to honor and thank the teachers who help students reach their goals and help them learn and grow. Social media had been abuzz with brands meaningfully translating the opportunity to present with logical ads and videos.

Let’s take a look at some of them:

Movie media houses have celebrated extraordinary mentors and guides with films such as ‘Taree Zameen Par’, ‘Chak De India’, ‘3 Idiots’, etc.

BYJU’S viz. India’s biggest platform for online education till the class of 12th has launched a digital film with the #LearnUnlearnRelearn to celebrate the dedication and relentless Spirit of Teachers.

Classplus came up with a video campaign with the theme of Guru Dakshina to offer a token of gratitude to the beloved “Gurus.”

Microsoft celebrated Teacher’s Day with the release of a short film called ‘Ladoo ki Khoj’ to celebrate the valuable educators. Through which they promote their online video chat platform called the Microsoft Team and its facilities.

Netflix celebrated the day with a wide variety of suggestions of series and movies that have the teachers as the central or an influencing character.

Godrej & Boyce represents the value of educators through the quality education they provide to every student.

Disney India has a special wish – not just for teachers – but for everyone who has guided, taught, and inspired us with life lessons to cherish forever.

Lays gives a funny representation of a side-by-side comparison of a teacher and a friend that iterates that wherever learning comes from is a teacher. Implying that a good friend is nothing less than a teacher.

TataSky celebrates the teacher’s day by saying that ‘Teachers are to society what a battery is to a remote.’

Anything and everything that gives you life lessons and a chance to improve and change to a better being is a teacher. Teachings can come from places you least expect; learn from it than ignoring them, as your ego can wait.
