Gillette India launches “Barber Suraksha Program” to help barbers during this hard time

Grooming brand, Gillette India Ltd formerly known as Indian Shaving Products Ltd has declared the “Gillette Barber Suraksha Program” aimed at educating, protecting, and providing helps to the barber community as they return to business.

As a part of the campaign, Gillette India has likewise launched a film, which is supported by Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar that takes purchasers through a nostalgic and emotional journey of thinking back the different examples, which they must have experienced at hair salons.

Gillette will likewise create educational and instructional videos with beautician Aalim Hakim on wellbeing and cleanliness measures that will surely help barbers to create a stylish and even safer salon experience to the customers. As a major aspect of the program, Gillette will give protection through insurance cover of up to Rs 1 lakh to all barbers. At the beginning of this program, Gillette will support 50,000 barbers across the entire nation.

These videos will cover concerns with respect to maintaining a proper social distancing measure while approaching the customers. Effective hand sanitizing methods and other tools of disinfecting practices among others are also included. It will support and help the barbers to ensure all types of wellbeing on them and with their clients are kept up.

In this intense COVID-19 pandemic period, Gillette will stay in solid interconnection and relationship with the hairdresser system of stylist network, after they revive or restart their business.
