Glance added 40mn new active users as it target TV screens

Glance is an Indian artificial intelligence software company that delivers personalized content to the lock screens of the smartphones it was founded by Piyush. InMobi-owned live lock screen, docutainment platform Glance build on over 40 million new active customers to their service between the first quarter of 2021 -2022 according to a contrary analysis market survey promoted by Glance. With 183 million Customers on the program, Glance saw an expansion of over 30% year-on-year (YoY) in its foundation, as it provided more markets and device form factors.

Glance offers lock screen content services are provided to its customers. It has a scope of beneficence that include access to mobile gaming, shopping, and more, and is provided as a preinstalled service on most smartphone brands.

 In that survey, glance added that today they have a partnership with the most famous smartphone vendors in India including Xiaomi, Samsung, Realme, Oppo, and Vivo which are the most famous smartphone sellers in India by market share. The lock screen service provided by Glance comes preinstalled in smartphones made by the companies and is authorized by levant – thereby adding heavily to its customer base in line with the increase in sales of smartphones in India.

 Arushi Chawla, a research analyst, said that the company’s main aim is to provide a live video e-commerce platform which has helped in its overall growth. Through its ancillary Roposo, Glance handles the live e-commerce platform that allows customers to broadcast live – and viewers to acquire these products during a live plenary.

 Yashashvi Takallapalli, vice-president for Glance, told Mint that apace from its live e-commerce offerings, the company is focusing to reach out to more international markets such as Southeast Asia and Latin America to cord more customers to its platform. 

In April this year, Glance stated that it is collaborating with smart television brands to provide its commercial services on TV lock screens as well. During the proclamation, Piyush Shah, co-founder of in Mobi, said that the company will look to provide preinstalled service on smart TVs similar to Xiaomi customs the company said that their main focus is to get a 30%of smart tv marketer with an approximate market size over 80 million smart TVs in India presently.
