Goodknight Smart Spray: A New Ad Campaign To Showcase The Effectiveness Of The Product

The house insect repellent brand, Goodknight has launched a television commercial for Goodknight Smart Spray, a newly tossed one-stop solution that provides an immediate and 8-hour guard against mosquitoes. Conceptualized by Wunderman Thompson, the television commercial features a well-recognized sight of a family spending quality time together facilitated by the long-lasting and guaranteed defence against mosquitoes offered by the smart spray.

The film opens with a father-daughter duo spotting mosquito buzzing around within the lounge. The mother involves the rescue, spraying Goodknight Smart Spray across the lounge. The husband is pleasantly surprised when he notices the fragrance and also the instant effect of no more mosquitoes within the room. He thanks his wife to which she sassily tells him she won’t help him again and therefore the daughter backs her. On seeing the daddy shocked, the mother smirks and tells him that she won’t spray anymore because the new spray lasts for up to eight hours. All of them share an honest laugh.

For now, the product has been launched solely within the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh markets.

Chief executive officer of Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL), Sunil Kataria said that with this television commercial, they aim to reach out to households and communicate how Smart Spray is a perfect package where they don’t need to choose between prompt action and enduring solutions.

Vice presidents and executive creative directors of Wunderman Thompson, Mumbai, Steve Mathias, and Priya Pardiwalla added that most solutions to mosquito problems fall under 2 classes, ‘Instant and Short Term’ or ‘Long Term and Not So Instant’ and they wanted to clearly communicate that Goodknight Smart Spray is an innovation that works instantly with an efficacy that lasts for eight long hours.
