HappyLocate, India’s first tech-based one-stop relocation platform, has announced plans to hire more than 200 people in the coming quarter. To support the brand’s aggressive growth strategy, the company intends to strengthen its team across six departments: sales, HR, accounts, operations, marketing, and technology.

HappyLocate intends to expand its presence across the country with these expansion plans, and has mapped out a plan to create 600 new job opportunities in FY23.

With businesses returning to normal, the company has seen significant growth as demand for relocations has increased over the last year. HappyLocate plans to hire fresh graduates from 50+ universities as well as experienced professionals across the country to further strengthen its market position.

Because HappyLocate has a hybrid working culture, employees can work on need-based cases from home and offices for the next year. As part of its liberal work culture, the company promotes equal opportunities in the workplace, with women leading Marketing, HR, and B2B Accounts teams accounting for 32% of its workforce.

It also has more than 40% female employees as movement managers on its operations team to ensure interactive and seamless relocation. To reinforce its commitment to a diverse workforce, the company has hired 70 percent of its employees from Tier 2/3 cities since its inception.

“As a company, HappyLocate strives to promote equality, and we continue to unlock the great talent that exists inside and outside our organisation,” said Sainadh Duvvuru, CBO & Co-founder, HappyLocate. We are looking for people who can fit perfectly in our dynamic culture, whether they are from metros or Tier 2/3 cities, males or females.

“We hire people regardless of gender or city of origin, and we will continue to hire those who can provide us with unique ideas and propel us to the next level of growth.” “We have only achieved a portion of our goal and still have a long way to go to meet our diversity targets,” Duvvuru said.

The company is also taking progressive steps to empower both female and male leaders at all levels by hosting various skilling and knowledge sessions and programmes. In addition, the company has invited interested applicants to apply for various positions through the company website and LinkedIn.

HappyLocate recently received Pre-Series-A funding led by Inflection Point Ventures, with plans to raise Series A funding by the end of 2022. The company has also established a global presence and has recently begun offering services in the United States, Canada, the Middle East, Japan, and Singapore.
