The verge of pollution has taken all the nations across the world tightly into its strong grip. Therefore, to avoid the same aspect in India, and sustain the depleting use of the natural resource that is widely used in the making of the fuels, the government of India has taken an initiative to keep the track of the fossil fuels and to relocate a new method so that, these fossil fuels won’t keep depleting by the humans. To achieve this milestone, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, who has the ministry of Road Transport and Highways stated that from now onwards, India will be working on a bio-aviation fuel that will have a proper mixture of ethanol onto it. The statement was issued this Thursday after an upheld meeting with the other ministers.

The issue of pollution via fossil fuels has taken a strong hold over the nation, as the people are more inclined towards buying new vehicles for their satisfaction, and the use of these fossil fuels has become significantly more in terms of household and professional use. However, mixing ethanol with bio-aviation fuel will lower the cost of the airlines by 20% and they can have the ticket price much lesser amount that will catch the attention of the public who can afford the flights for their travel. The issue was raised at the Mint Mobility Conclave after railways announced their own hydrogen run trains that will be introduced in India by 15th August 2023.

For a while, the fuel consumption for the airlines at the current rate costs the production 75% of the money that is being generated from the revenue and sales. This brings a direct impact on the customers who are traveling by the flights, and they are liable to pay almost half the amount of the fuel cost to the airlines in the terms of surge charge that is being taken from them. However, with the statement issued by the union minister, the official dignity will be maintained with the conclave of the fuels that are used in the airlines. Nitin Gadkari also added in his interview in the conclave that, the government is promoting the production of ethanol all across the nation, and injecting ethanol into the bio-aviation sector is the first step that the government took toward sustainability of the fossil fuel for future generations.
