Chennai, May 14, 2025: Indian Bank hosted a townhall meeting for its employees at the Indian Bank Management Academy for Growth and Excellence (IMAGE) Auditorium, in Chennai. The event was led by Managing Director & CEO, Shri Binod Kumar, and served as a platform for direct engagement between the leadership and staff members in and around Chennai region. Executive Directors of the Bank Shri Mahesh Kumar Bajaj, Shri Ashutosh Chowdhury, Shri Shiv Bajrang Singh and Shri Brajesh Kumar were also present on the occasion.
During the session, employees had the opportunity to hear firsthand about the Bank’s evolving focus areas specifically towards digital future, upcoming initiatives, and shared aspirations. The townhall fostered a culture of openness, alignment, and collective purpose within the organization.
By encouraging transparent communication and reinforcing strategic priorities, Indian Bank continues to strengthen its internal connect toward collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity with commitment to build a motivated, future-ready workforce. The event upheld the Bank’s continued focus on improving customer experience and sensitising staff members about excelling in customer service.
In his address, Shri Binod Kumar congratulated the staff members for the excellent performance of the Bank during the FY ended on 31st March 2025. He urged employees to contribute to the business growth and achieve targeted market cap of Rs.1.00 Lakh Crore, while providing seamless customer experience.
The meeting concluded with reinforcement of the bank’s mission, values, and priorities.
