INOX Leisure Ltd confirmed that they had signed an advertisement contract with Manyavar for pan-India cinema. The production makes Manyavar, after the reopening of the cinemas, the first national brand to ink a pan-India agreement with INOX. The contract signals the resurgence of cinema ads, which struggled tremendously as the cinema industry had to shut down operations due to a COVID-induced lockdown for a period of more than 8 months.

Manyavar has always focused heavily on cinema ads as a top national brand in the room of celebratory wear and enjoys a 5-year-old relationship with INOX. Manyavar will seek to market its entire line of ethnic fashion wear for men, along with its sub-brands Mohey and Mebaz, with the signing of a fresh pan-India contract. In addition to its full range of Sherwanis, Indo-Westerns, Bandhgalas, Kurta-Jackets and ethnic clothing accessories, under its Mohey brand, Manyavar offers celebration wear for women, while Mebaz is a one-stop destination for men, women and children.

With the Ministry of Home Affairs allowing seating capacity to be increased and the corresponding recommendations released by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting allowing 100 percent seating w.e.f. 1 Feb, INOX wants studios and producers to announce the release dates of the films immediately, prompting a substantial rise in footfalls. Having seen high levels of occupancy in South India for movies such as Master, Solo Brathuke So Better, Krack& Red, which led to a major increase in the involvement of brands in cinema ads, INOX hopes that the same trend would appear across the nation once producers declare the release dates for the highly awaited blockbusters.

INOX has shared immense hope for FY22 with an assured and incredibly rich pipeline of films in various genres and languages, naming it the Year of Cinema Entertainment. The industry is primed to see big blockbusters at regular intervals during the year, with 50+ titles in Hindi and other Indian languages each set to reach the screens in the next 12 to 15 months, complemented by an incredibly rich and thrilling Hollywood release pipeline.

Manyavar’s relationship with INOX for more than 5 years has been one that is underlined by continuity, openness, and contact efficiency, and are committed to further improving it. They believe firmly that very soon we will begin to see the same degree of enthusiasm and exuberance in cinema lobbies around the world.
