Lamborghini, the Italian sports car maker has already sold all its six-figure cars until 2024, its boss told AFP on Tuesday, with luxury goods unpretentious by global economic uncertainty.

The Volkswagen subsidiary is relishing “high demand” and has an order book covering the next 18 months, CEO Stephan Winkelmann said. And it is said that people have to wait for the next 18 months to own a Lamborghini. Rich customers are clustering to the brand regardless of the global financial fallout from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

“We have more and more stepping into Lamborghini. Because they trust the brand, they see how beautiful the cars are, how (high) performing they are,” Winkelmann said. The global economy only has to “stay a bit stable” for that to continue, he furthered. The long demand for cars is also a result of a scarcity of components, mainly chips required for new electric models.

Lamborghini is preparing a hybrid variety of each of its models by 2024 and the first fully electric Lamborghini in the second half of the era. Winkelmann also added saying that the company is trying its best to satisfy its customers as much as they can, as fast as they can to keep all the things updated and rolling in a positive way

Lamborghini released its best financial outcomes, showcasing a record performance for the first half of the 2022 calendar year. The Volkswagen Group manufacturer delivered 5090 vehicles from the start of the year to June 2022, with an increased rate of 4.9 per cent over its previous best, however, the latest records also express the business having a strong turnover of €1.33 billion ($1.96 billion).

Profit is what makes a car company healthy and defensible. Lamborghini is now a poster brand not only in enthusiast’s bedrooms but also in the offices of Volkswagen’s accountants, with the brand delivering a €425 million ($625 million) operating profit.

That is up an astounding 69.6 per cent from its former best record of €251 million ($370 million). The equivalent operating margin was 31.9 per cent after 24.6 per cent in the previous year period. The $625 million in operating profit is after all costs that are for every car Lamborghini sold it made $122,789 from an overall business perspective.
