New Delhi, 15thSeptember 2026: Libas unveils ‘Utsav – A Celebration of Festivals’, its latest festive campaign that explores the journey of Indian festivals- from preparing for the divine to welcoming Shakti, and ultimately recognising her presence within the women around us.
The campaign is structured in two chapters – ‘Preparation’ and ‘Aagman’. The first chapter focuses on the rituals that set the festive season in motion, with the flower serving as its central motif. From being woven into garlands and offered in prayer to becoming part of rangolis and festive décor, the campaign captures the familiar details that mark the anticipation of celebration.
The narrative then moves into ‘Aagman’, exploring the arrival of the divine feminine across India’s festive traditions. Drawing from Navratri, Pujo and Diwali, the campaign brings together Shakti, Durga and Sita as different expressions of the divine feminine and the many ways in which she is welcomed across India.
Aagman then takes the narrative beyond mythology, drawing a parallel between the Shakti celebrated during festivals and the women who embody those qualities every day, through their strength, resilience, grace, nurturing spirit and ability to create and transform. The campaign thus moves from the idea of welcoming Shakti to recognising that she already exists within us.
Nisha Khatri, Head of Marketing, Libas, said, “The idea behind Utsav was to move beyond depicting festivals and explore what they truly represent. Shakti became the natural thread – we prepare for her, welcome her and celebrate her during our festivals, but we also see that same strength in the women around us every day. The campaign is about making that connection visible. By bringing a deeply rooted cultural idea into the context of the modern Indian woman, Utsav allows us to tell a festive story that is familiar, but not conventional.”
Conceptualised by Libas’ in-house creative team, Utsav takes a digital-first approach to culture-led storytelling, using familiar Indian rituals and festive traditions to create a contemporary narrative around Shakti and the modern Indian woman. The campaign reflects Libas’ intent to build cultural conversations that are rooted in tradition, while remaining relevant to how today’s woman experiences and celebrates India’s festivals.
