Manish Makhijani elected President of Market Research Society

The formation of the Managing Committee for the tenure of 2022-2024 was announced by the Market Research Society of India (MRSI).  

The other committee members included the ex-president Arora, Stephen Samuel (Kantar Analytics Practice), Sathyamurthy Namakkal (DDB Mudra Group), Dixit Chanana (Toluna India), Mukul Gautam (Purple Audacity), Derrick Gray (BARC), Sameer Grover (Crownit) and many others.  

The Global Insights Director of Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Manish Makhijani elected as the new President. He takes over this position from the Executive Vice President and Global Head – Research & Analytics Solutions, Datamatics Global Services, Sandeep Arora.  

He has been Vice President of the Market Research Society of India for the past three years.  

Manish Makhijani was creative in creating and delivering several initiatives like the Golden Key awards and the Hackathon event in the annual seminar. He is also one passionate advocate of nurturing talent, he has also been at the forefront of inspiring new talent to the industry and also contributed a lot to the business growth.  

Vice-Presidents were also elected-Paru Minocha and Saurin Shah.  

Nitin Kamat and Prashant Kolleri are the Treasurer and secretary respectively MRSI.  

On the occasion of the MRSI’s 34th Annual General Meeting held on 7th July 2022 in Mumbai. The new Managing Committee members were elected.  

Sandeep Arora-the Executive Vice President, Global Head – Research & Analytics Solutions, Datamatics Global Services, is also the outgoing President of the Market Research Society of India congratulated the newly elected president and also thanked MRSI members for the efficient support of the current managing committee with their Ernest trust, especially during the change in their course and during the unpredictable covid period.  

He also wished the newly elected managing committee Manish Makhijani and wished him the best to carry the momentum forward.  

Manish Makhijani, Global Insights Director, Hindustan Unilever Ltd. as elected as the president of MRSI for the upcoming two years said that he is incredibly privileged to carry on the legacy of gallants in the industry.  

Their industry has come a long way and they also have experienced the intersection of changing marketing solutions, and consumer behaviour and technology.
