MG ZS EV & Hyundai Kona Electric- Comparison & Features

The EV revolution in India is emerging and gathering its space in India. The two premium electronic cars have been introduced in India in the form of Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS EV. This is made the entry into the market with ample range, price, features and in an affordable price point. Both the vehicles are based on the IC engine counterparts and their ICE versions are not available in India. The Kona’s off-beat is designed with a split headlamp and tail lamp agreement, thick plastic cladding all around, and closed off body-color grills.            Hyundai designed the Kona Electric with a 39.3kWh battery pack and it has torque and power of 136bhp and 395Nm respectively. The ZS EV features a 44.5kWh battery pack and torque and power of 143bhp. The range is a crucial factor related to EV. Kona Electric will do 452km on a full charge and while the ZS EV can do 340km on a single charge. EVs are primarily using in cities and Rs 7 is the assumed average cost-per-unit of electricity. As per the estimation the charging is based on a 16amp socket, the ZS EV takes almost 20 hours to charge from 0 to 100 percent and in the Kona Electric, it takes 18 hours.

            The price range of MG ZS EV is between Rs 20.88 lakh to Rs 23.58 lakh9Ex-showroom) and Kona Electric has priced at Rs 23.76 lakh to Rs 23.95 lakh(ex-showroom). Both Electric Vehicles have very unique features and specifications and are designed in a very comfortable way. The quality, efficiency, better driving experience, and premiums are recommending for the seekers.
