Nachiket Pantvaidya of Balaji Telefilms has announced his step down.

After joining Balaji Telefilms in July 2021, the Group CEO stayed for less than a year.
Nachiket Pantvaidya resigned as Group CEO of Balaji Telefilms after only a year on the job. Pantvaidya will remain with the company until May 31, according to a regulatory filing.

Pantvaidya was named Group CEO of Balaji Telefilms in July 2021. Prior to joining Balaji, he was the Managing Director of Asianet News Media & Entertainment. Nachiket was previously the Group COO of Balaji Telefilms and the CEO of ALTBalaji.Pantvaidya has previously worked for companies such as Star, Sony, Disney, and the BBC.

ALTBalaji’s SVP of marketing, partnerships, and revenue, Divya Dixit, quit last week as well. Balaji Telefilms Ltd, a media and entertainment company, has announced the appointment of Nachiket Pantvaidya as group chief executive officer. Pantvaidya then moved to Asianet News Media and Entertainment as managing director for a short time. Pantvaidya will be accountable for the group’s profit and loss operations’ overall growth and success, according to Balaji.
