New Delhi, September 23, 2026: Mr. Rajat Sharma, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, India TV was today unanimously re-elected President of News Broadcasters and Digital Association (NBDA) for the year 2026-27, at the meeting of the Board of Directors. The Board expressed full confidence in Mr. Sharma’s continued leadership.
NBDA is the apex association which presently has 29 leading news and current affairs broadcasters (comprising 130 news channels and digital platforms) as its members.
Earlier, at the 19th Annual General Meeting, NBDA also welcomed Mr. Jayant Mammen Mathew, representing MM TV Ltd., who was appointed to the Board.
At the same meeting, Ms. Rachna Burman, Director–Public Policy & Content Assurance, The Times Group and Ms. Kshipra Jatana, Group General Counsel – Network18 Media & Investments Limited were made Permanent Directors of NBDA.
