Nishant Nayak FanCode’s new Chief Product Officer

Nishant Nayak has been selected as the Chief Product Officer of FanCode, India’s top digital sports fan site from Dream Sports (CPO). To realise FanCode’s goal of being the biggest sports fan platform in the nation, Nishant will oversee the product strategy.

FanCode is the top digital sports destination in India and is dedicated to provide each fan with a highly customised experience in terms of Content, Community, and Commerce. FanCode offers quick interactive live match scores, in-depth live commentary, fantasy sports data and statistics (Fantasy Research Hub), professional fantasy advice, sports news, and much more in addition to interactive live streaming. Yannick Colaco and Prasana Krishnan, two seasoned members of the sports sector, established FanCode in March 2019.

FIVB, West Indies Cricket Board, Bangladesh Premier League, Caribbean Premier League, Bundesliga, and I-League are just a few of the domestic and international sports leagues and associations that FanCode has partnered with. Other partners include three of the top American Leagues, MLB, NFL, and NBA, FIVB, and the Bundesliga.

Nishant Nayak has more than 20 years of experience in leadership positions in product and technology eCommerce in the United States, India, and Europe, working for marketplace companies including eBay, Flipkart, Zalando, and Zenjob. knowledgeable about how to link the product’s vision and strategy, including its features, growth, market expansion, and scaling, to the organization’s purpose, vision, and overall strategy. Empathetic leadership with an emphasis on creating, defining capabilities, managing product work, accelerating, and coaching high-performing product teams

Yannick Colaco, a co-founder of FanCode, commented on the appointment, saying that they are happy to welcome Nishant to their FanCode family. He is a key addition to their leadership team and will help them go closer to their goal of building a community of sports enthusiasts that numbers at least 10 million.

Regarding his new position, Nishant stated that as a die-hard sports fan himself, FanCode’s mission to become India’s largest digital sports fan destination is a very thrilling task.
