Rotoris Launches Astonia Watch through The Rotoris Registry

The model includes Titanium Ice, Crimson Carbon, Sunset Carbon, Velocity Green & Victory Gold.

Gurugram, September 10, 2026 – India’s first design-led watch house, Rotoris has announced the launch of its most technical watch Astonia through The Rotoris Registry.

Astonia is powered by the Ronda 5030.D, a Swiss chronograph movement, built on Swiss parts, with a twelve-hour and thirty-minute counter, small seconds, date, and Add and Split timing. It sits in a 42mm case of surgical-grade 316L stainless steel grade-5 titanium in the Titanium Ice closed by a screwed-in steel caseback, under a thick, high-clarity sapphire crystal, and sealed to 100 metres (10 ATM).

The quality is in the things a hand registers before the eye can name them. Bevel polished case flanks catch the light along a single clean line; surfaces move between high polish, fine brushing and sandblasting across one case; and the plating is laid a full micron thick. The carbon-fibre bezels carry their own lume. The Rotoris name is applied in metal. Every watch runs on a supple FKM rubber strap, cut longer for a more universal fit closed by a custom buckle with a positive, secure lock. The finishing is built to stand with the established Swiss sport-chronograph houses.

“Astonia is designed and assembled under our own roof.” says Prerna Gupta, co-founder of Rotoris. “Owning both ends is what lets us push on the finishing, the materials, further than a house this young is expected to. That’s the ambition: to keep moving the line of what a watch made here can be.”

The chapter arrives as five executions, one 42mm architecture, one Swiss movement, several characters:

Titanium Ice – grade-5 titanium.

Crimson Carbon – carbon-fibre bezel with crimson run through the black weave. Numbered,

Sunset Carbon – carbon-fibre bezel, sunset through the weave.

Velocity Green – surgical-grade 316L steel, green sunray dial.

Victory Gold – ion-plated gold over 316L steel, black dial.

Every caseback is engraved with two words, facing the wrist: Become More.

Where the founding chapter introduced the house to the world, Astonia defines its direction. Rotoris has chosen to build up rather than discount down, holding to a direct-to-consumer model with no discounting, and letting the product carry its own price. Its physical spaces are built as galleries, places to experience the house rather than transact, with allocation running through The Registry. The ascent up the value chain is the real story: a better movement, better materials, and a release paced by the hand, not the market.

The confidence is earned. Every timepiece in the founding chapter – 2,100 numbered pieces was allocated, sold direct and by invitation, with no discounting. A meaningful share of those owners sits outside India, roughly one in five, giving the house an international base from its very first release. Astonia follows the same blueprint, refined: profile completion first, allocation follows.

Scarcity here is not a tactic, it is a consequence of how the watches are made.  Each Astonia is largely finished by hand: bevels cut and polished, surfaces brushed and blasted, dials built up by people, not machines alone. There is only so much of that a year can hold. Just 2,175 pieces of Astonia will be made, each one numbered or limited and the Registry is now live, where prospective owners complete a profile and share a little about themselves, so the house can know them before allocation opens.

About Rotoris

Rotoris is India’s first design-led watch house, built for the man still becoming more. Its founding chapter of 2,100 numbered timepieces was allocated in full, a fifth of it to owners beyond India. The house speaks direct and by invitation. It builds galleries. And it tracks every timepiece on a public registry, so that owning one means something. Rotoris is led by co-founders Aakash Anand and Prerna Gupta.
