As the competition for 5G is being increasing day by day, with Adani Private Networks coming into the picture to surge the bid at the spectrum auction, all the telecom industry has now raised concern over the price surge of the 5G network if the private network kept the demand of the users fixed. As the main issue with raised concern over the same is that 5G in its first and second phase would only be available to the limited metro circle popularly known as Cosmopolitan and Metropolitan cities of India. And the network in the first phase would be limited to the surge of the demand that will be incurred majorly from the sources like tech industries, IT sectors, and all start-ups.

With the issue regarding top over all the other concerns, the Telecom department concluded that all the prices of 5G service that shall be provided to the users will have the same price chart as the 4G plans at the same level. The department further directed that the tariff of 4G and 5G may have a minimal difference of surge, but it cannot convey a whole lot of money from the users especially when the 5G service is just starting across the nation. This came after some of the operators are in hype to increase and charge a premium like a model for the 5G over the 4G service so that, they get instant profitability for their firms, and it will not incur them any or none of the extra expense in garnering and marketing of the new 5G network.

Hence, the fifth generation of technology that will have an insane amount of speed for the internet will only be charged at the price for the level as same as of the 4G, this will further boost the affordability of 5G, and it will also work in a those few devices that supports the fewer bands of 5G which can give the customer an enhanced option of experience for the newest technology. The department stated that, as the service will only be active in the fewer service area or the metro circle, charging the premium model will not seem attractive from the perspective of the user who will be using the fifth-generation technology.
