The MarTech network Wondrlab introduces “WISR,” an open technology platform that links businesses and schools to empower schools through brand collaborations. WISR was established to essentially address the issues of inadequate teacher pay and shoddy educational facilities. Brands can address this issue. According to Wondrlab, WISR has the potential to increase teacher salaries by 20% at each participating school.

WISR is a platform that gives schools access to new sources of income. The chance is to assist marketers in developing distinctive possibilities to connect with 260 million kids across more than 1.5 million schools nationwide.

A clear opportunity for brands exists in this market niche. It is evident that children wield enormous influence and affect consumer choices in a wide range of important categories. Even in 2017, the average child’s pocket money was 22 lakh rupees, and it increased by 100% every five years (in fact the pocket money is more than the GDP of 52 countries).

An unorganized database has long been an issue for marketers. Requesting permissions has always been a laborious and manual process. The success of communication projects has never been tracked or evaluated.

WISR enables brands to Find schools: Based on the category, marketing goals, and budgets, a smart algorithm chooses the best schools. Brands can easily schedule, deploy, and optimize campaigns using the platform.

At the time of its introduction, WISR has more than 1500 schools spread throughout 21 cities. Over the next five years, WISR will enroll more than 50K schools.

The founder and CEO of Wondrlab, Saurabh Varma, stated, “Our schools require assistance. They require assistance to increase teacher pay, improve infrastructure, and improve student experiences. Brands can help to do this positively. India’s progress toward a $5 trillion economy is dependent on quality instruction. We have that ability. If we can even have a small part in making this goal come true, it will be very rewarding.

We want to use WISR to do marketing for the greater good, according to Vandana Verma, co-founder and managing partner of Wondrlab. However, we are aware that this presents a unique set of difficulties.

As a result, the platform has hired a panel of educationalists, child psychologists, and legal specialists who are in charge of reviewing all brand communication to protect this. They will watch out for each other’s compliance with all academic policies and moral advertising standards. All brands, media companies, and creative agencies will be able to join on the open platform spanning important industries like sports, personal hygiene, and entertainment.
