According to WPP, Design Bridge & Partners is the new company that was created as a result of the merger of Design Bridge and Super union. The new company will provide clients with access to a broad range of design expertise that is unparalleled in the sector when it starts in January 2023. The company will assist clients in expanding and evolving through consumer, business, lifestyle, and experience design.

The new international organization will be led by John Morris, the current CEO of Design Bridge, with Jim Prior, the current CEO of Superunion, serving as chair.

Design Bridge and Partners will bring together experts in all areas of brand strategy and design, including visual, motion, digital, physical, and communication design. They will all share the creative concept of using the strength of excellent design to solve social and commercial issues. In addition, the culture of the new business will place a strong importance on cooperation and cultivating talent. Existing talent will have new opportunities for development, including the potential to improve their design knowledge in all areas, work with more illustrious clients, and experience greater mobility within a larger global organization and the wider WPP network.
Through the end of the year, the two organizations will continue to operate separately. Each market will assess the new company’s organizational structure and market-facing brands over the next months based on client and regional needs. The whole management team and creative leadership, which will be disclosed shortly, will be made up of current executives from Design Bridge and Superunion.

According to John Morris, CEO of Design Bridge & Partners, the chance to merge two design creative powerhouses is truly fantastic. Design Bridge and Partners, which combines the “best of both,” will be genuinely formidable, bringing greater benefit to our clients through shared expertise and, most importantly, many more opportunities for our people to grow. “This is a beautiful union of creative quality that will provide amazing results for our clients and our staff,” says Jim Prior, chair of Design Bridge & Partners. We have the exceptional opportunity to set the standard for showcasing design’s true potential as a positive force in the world.
