Brands across the board tried and satisfied with ‘Vaccine discounts’

These days’ getting a vaccine appointment got into a rush around. Nothing can make Indians up and running like healthy discount offers. Most of them are Checking in Cowin mobile app and website now and then and asking friends through Telegram chats.

In recent times a win-win situation to a vaccine discount, somewhere someone decided to make an offering.

In the last month, many brands offered vaccine-based discounts or freebies, a surge in the market. There is no stopping of those over-flow discounts.

This scheme first started within the United States. Various brands offered vaccinated folks free beer or Krispy Kreme Doughnuts or tickets to a baseball game, among other stuff.

In India, brands are following the same offerings, such as discounts and varied categories they represent.

Recently, McDonald’s offering 20% on a minimum value of Rs 500 with we care Vouchers for everyone in the 18+ age group who got vaccinated. If not for four orders, we can get Rs 400 off till September 24, 2021, on the Dominos app.

The Beer Cafe giving its consumers a 10% discount on their first stab and 20% on the second one.

Mumbai-based UCO bank announced that will give 0.30 percent higher interest rates on fixed deposits of 999 days for people who got at least one jab.

To encourage COVID vaccination Reliance General Insurance has also introduced a 5% extra discount on health infinity products.

Traveling segments also offering discounts. Recently, leading airline indiGo offering a 10% discount on the base rate for the flier who has received the COVID shot.

MakeMyTrip is also offering for the vaccinated folks additionally a 10% discount on all domestic flights, along with special value offers and adds-on.

French clothing brand Celio offers, by adding beneficial points which are faithful to its customers if they get vaccinated. 

Grofers is an Online grocery shopping also, offering a one-month free subscription to Grofers SBC (Smart Bachat Club).

Godrej Appliances was offering a six-month extended offer exclusively for the customers who received at least one shot of the COVID vaccine.

Many segments are continuing to make this kind of vaccine discount game, but keeping aside, this kind of scheme will encourage people to get vaccinated.

When we hear about discounts or seen any discount images or cashback pop into our minds.

The Discounts need not be monetary. They can be service-oriented, like same-day delivery, tie-ups with allied services, gift hampers. Nothing will succeed as a proper monetary discount.
