Havas Group India expands footprint into Eastern India

Havas Group India, a multinational advertising giant with headquarters in Paris, has announced its entry into eastern India through a strategic partnership with Kolkata-based digital marketing agency Quite Easily Done (QED).

The new company, Havas QED, will collaborate with Havas Creative Group India, which includes the creative firms Havas Worldwide India, Havas CX, Think Design, Conran Design Group Mumbai, and Shobiz (experiential). Anisha Singh Motwani, the founder, and CEO of QED will oversee the company and report to Manas Lahiri, managing director of Havas Worldwide India (Creative). The creative and digital expertise of Havas Creative Group India would be further advanced by this relationship.

Through acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, Havas Group India has strengthened and expanded its core offerings over the past three years. This has led to impressive commercial development, making the network one of the fastest growing in the nation. With eastern India as the next stop to explore new opportunities, Havas Group India is now expanding its regional footprint in India.

According to Rana Barua, Group CEO of Havas Group India, “during the preceding two years, we moved from three to ten organizations through acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, adding agencies like Conran Design Group, Havas CX, Think Design, and Shobiz Havas under the Creative umbrella.” Verticals for media have been added, including Havas Market, Havas Sports and Entertainment, Havas Content, and a partnership with Tribes. Our reputation in the industry has grown significantly as a result of this. Without a doubt, there is untapped commercial potential in eastern India. This strategic partnership, in my opinion, is a decisive first step in the market and paves the way for the potential establishment of our fourth village in India in the future.
