In June last year, Oppo A12 was released in India, bringing a dual-camera system on the back and a large monitor. The price of the A12 smartphone in India has reportedly been cut by Oppo. Oppo’s budget-range A-series smartphone is now selling in the offline market for Rs 500 less. Back in June last year, the Oppo A12 was released in India for a starting price of Rs 9,990. The Oppo A12 base variant is now Rs 1,500 cheaper with the new price cut, while the top memory variant is down by Rs 1,000.

The A12 has recently seen a price cut of Rs 1,000. The recent price cut makes the Oppo A12 more enticing to consumers, but finding a name in the sea of quad-camera smartphones in this range would still be challenging for the smartphone.

According to a 91Mobiles study citing industry sources, the Oppo A12 price cut is now operational in the offline market. This means that on online sites, including Amazon, Flipkart, and Oppo’s own online store, the Oppo A12 is still selling at the old price. Oppo has not said anything formal about this, but such price reductions in the price of smartphones are very popular in the offline market. Perhaps, after a few days, the new price will be effective on online sites as well.

The Oppo A12 3GB RAM and 32GB capacity version now costs Rs 8,490 when purchased from retail shops and offline outlets, according to the survey. Similarly, as opposed to the previous price of Rs 11,490, the other version with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB capacity currently costs Rs 10,990.

Rs 9,990 and Rs 11,990, respectively, are the initial prices of the two models. The Oppo A12 is available in the colors Blue and Black.

With a notch at the end, the Oppo A12 has a 6.2-inch HD+ camera. It is covered on top by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a 19:9 aspect ratio. Combined with up to 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, the Oppo A12 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor. Up to 256GB of data can be extended with a microSD card. There’s even a fingerprint reader on the rear of the Oppo A12.

The Oppo A12 holds a mix of two rear sensors for imaging – a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. A 5-megapixel selfie camera is located in the waterdrop-style notch on the smartphone. In addition to the usual camera features that include AI beauty mode and panorama, the Oppo A12 comes with a Dazzle Color Mode.

A 4230mAh battery that supports the standard charging speed pulls its energy from the smartphone. On its rear panel, the Oppo A12 has a 3D Diamond Blaze feature.
