OnePlus Collaborates with Snapchat to Launch The New Diwali Campaign

OnePlus Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.( OnePlus), a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong, was established in 2013. The company currently serves 34 countries and regions around the world as of July 2018. They have released numerous smartphones and other products.

OnePlus has joined hands with Snapchat and has recently launched a special Diwali campaign. The brands have joined hands to create a special AR (Augmented Reality) Lens that will enable the users to share the happiness of Diwali from the safety and comfort of their own homes.

This special Snapchat Lens will help the users to transform their wishes into Bubbles of positivity that can be released into the sky with the special virtual fireworks and Diwali greetings. OnePlus has always been strongly adhering to the fact that technology can bring people together and in this special mood of Diwali the brand thinks that it is important to make it more special

Through this campaign with Snapchat, OnePlus urges the users across the world to celebrate the festival of lights (Diwali) safely and securely during this scenario of COVID pandemic outburst. In the wake of the virus outburst, OnePlus wishes to share the message of hope and love with the global community as they are prepared to celebrate one of India’s biggest festivals, Diwali.

Talking about the campaign, Prashant Halbe, Creative Strategy Lead, Snap India, said that the brand’s focus is to gear up meaningful connections through distinctive, unique, and creative experiences. This is the brand’s second year of working with OnePlus for Diwali and in this challenging year of corona pandemic, Snapchat wants to use AR to bring Snapchatters together virtually. By partnering with OnePlus and using hand recognition technology Snapchat hopes that this Diwali AR campaign will allow its users to spread a little more happiness and positivity this Diwali.
