Ovenstory Pizza reveals an interesting new brand campaign India’s leading National pizza chain, Ovenstory Pizza revealed their new television brand campaign, conceptualised by Wondrlab – India’s platform-first martech start-up. Ovenstory Pizza ranked as the ‘Standout Pizza’, the campaign uniquely shows Ovenstory’s superior pizzas as compared to other pizza brands by spotlighting the brand’s innovative pizza flavours and offerings that appeal to customers.

Ovenstory pizza is India’s biggest pizza brand with different types of Cheese as its USP –Tandoori, Chipotle, El-Classico Cheese and Peri-Peri. Other than promoting the four delicious cheese flavours, the four-film campaign also pointed out the brand’s personal ‘Semizza’ offering, where customers can order half-cut 11” pizzas of their interest in preferences and toppings. Ovenstory pizzas are thinner and have a crispier crust, the consumers can try them out along with limited period offers. Current pizzas do not give customers the option of cheeses, and the personal pizza list is still limited to the usual 6” pizzas which do compromise on toppings. Ovenstory addresses these problems with a customer-first focus on transformation in the pizza space. This campaign brings this philosophy and innovation alive and serves as the launch of the brand’s position as a ‘standout pizza’.

Speaking about the success of campaigns by Indrajit Ghosh, Global Head – Marketing Communication and Design, Rebel Foods, said, “The key to the success of any campaign is clear messaging. The Ovenstory pizza is a disruptor in its category, and it was very important for the messaging to come out clearly. The advertisement-film campaigns by Wondrlab bring the soul of the brand, while successfully conveying how we stand different from others. The films have been acknowledged on different platforms and we look forward to this continued partnership and creating various memorable campaigns together in future.”

The campaign moves away from the popular representation of brands and introduces kids as the protagonists in their videos. While adults are possibly less open to change, kids are frequently known to question and challenge the status quo, like Ovenstory Pizza. The movies depict real problems of popular pizzas such as basic cheese flavours, too much crust and importantly the lesser number of choices to choose half-pizzas – Semizzas. Each of the four ad films marks these problems while highlighting why Ovenstory Pizzas are the best standout option.
