Explanation of the 3E model of hybrid work culture

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has shared its predictions for the future of the hybrid work paradigm.

The 3E paradigm, which stands for “Embrace, Enable, and Empower,” was emphasised by the authors of an essay titled “To the Future of Work from Anywhere.”

According to the authors of the paper, the future shift will be to a hybrid model that allows employees to work from anywhere. This change in the workplace and working style is more than a step into the new world; it is a revolution.

The Embrace-Enable-Empower (3E) concept gives a holistic strategy to moving forward with the new paradigm shift.

The next generation of workers has power, and they require a healthy atmosphere in which to live and achieve. From the early pre-industrial era to the modern information age, the evolution of work has gone through several changes.

In our lives, technology is an unavoidable backbone. The worldwide epidemic wrecked devastation.

Not only did businesses need to speed up their digital transformation, but they also needed to revamp their whole work culture and employee engagement. According to the Owl Labs State of Remote Working Report 2020, 77 percent of respondents believe that working from home after COVID-19 would make them happier.

We are not going back in time, given the new normal’s level of flexibility and liberty. Work from Anywhere, Hybrid Teams, and Asynchronous Collaboration will be some of the main characteristics of digital businesses.

TCS boldly revealed its own secure borderless workspaces (SBWSTM) strategy, stating that by 2025, just 25% of TCS employees will be working out of TCS facilities at any given moment.

Many other world leaders, too, have emphasised the importance of hybrid remote and onsite working arrangements. The working population of Millennials and Generation Z has always been digitally savvy. Are organisations and the huge multi-generational workforce, on the other hand, prepared for this paradigm shift? Working from home necessitates a lot of thought and pivoting.

Its real-time implementation is far larger and deeper than previously thought. For a meaningful transition in corporate culture, a well-structured system with strong executive backing is required.

Individuals must accept remote working, but organisations must make a genuine commitment to allowing the standards, processes, and norms.

Tools, technology, and infrastructure are major investments in empowering individuals and allowing businesses to realise the benefits of remote working. We anticipate that the future transition will be to a hybrid model that allows employees to work from anywhere. This shift in the workplace and working style is more than a transition to the new world; it is a revolution.
