Several changes have been made to Warner Bros. Discovery’s regional leadership team. Clement Schwebig, President & Managing Director of Warner Bros. Discovery in India, Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Korea, made the announcement.

Clement Schwebig, commenting on the new Warner Bros. Discovery leadership team, stated, “Our region, which encompasses India, Southeast Asia, and Korea (abbreviated as “INSEAK”), will be structured with a territory-centric approach in order to be more agile and locally relevant. Simultaneously, we will utilize our scale across the enterprise and the region to provide deeper expertise and greater efficiency. Consequently, some functions will be national, while others will be regional. This is our advantage and strength.”

Arjun Nohwar will be General Manager of India. Nohwar was previously responsible for the launch of HBO Max in India, and his digital expertise will help the company prepare for its next growth phase.

Megha Tata has decided to leave her position as Managing Director for South Asia at Discovery, Inc. Clement Schwebig commented on Tata’s departure, saying, “I’d like to take this opportunity to recognize and thank Megha Tata, who will be leaving the company. She has led the success of Discovery’s portfolio and brands in India, including the launch of the Discovery+ streaming service, for several years.

Jeeyoung Lee will serve as Korea’s General Manager. During her tenure at Discovery, she contributed to the establishment of a robust production unit that will serve as a pillar of the organization’s future strategy in Korea.

Asia Southeast, Taiwan, and Hong Kong Shonali Bedi will be in charge of Affiliate Distribution and Digital Partnerships for Southeast Asia while continuing to oversee Business Development and Insights for the entire region.

Cindy Ma will oversee Taiwan’s Affiliate Distribution and Advertising Sales.

Following a transition period, Yasmin Zahid, whose name has been synonymous with HBO/WarnerMedia Affiliate Distribution for the past three decades, will leave the company. Schwebig stated, “Working with Yasmin has been an absolute pleasure, and she deserves all the credit for our fantastic affiliate relationships.”

Warner Bros. Discovery will operate three verticals on the Content (Programming, Original Production, and Acquisition) side:

Magdalene Ew will remain in charge of Entertainment.

Christopher Ho will serve as the leader of Kids Lynn Ng will oversee Factual & Lifestyle while continuing her current role as Content Operations Director for the entire region.

Leslie Lee, who led WarnerMedia Kids in APAC, is leaving the organization. Schwebig stated, “With our Kids portfolio being a leader in the region, Leslie leaves the company with a distinguished tenure that includes the recent launch of Cartoonito and numerous Asian originals, such as the International Emmy-nominated Lamput.”
